The operation in the O'Higgins Region is developing this process without setbacks and is advancing in its Safe Return Plan, with the processing of 42,500 tons per day in milling.
Santiago, January 19, 2026 - Codelco released its Report No. 53, corresponding to the period between January 12 and 18, in which it details the status of operations at the El Teniente Division, the progress in safety matters and the management of requirements from authorities and supervisory services.
During the week, the division handled 88 requests from oversight and judicial authorities, of which 71 have already been answered, while the rest are still being processed within the established deadlines.
Operationally, the Safe and Gradual Restart of Operations Plan continued, with a particular focus on Annual General Maintenance (AGM). The mine operated normally, with the fluctuations typical of this type of maintenance. The first phase of AGM was completed without accidents and with the support of more than 1,500 on-site personnel. The Concentrator Plant and the Smelter operated on a limited basis due to scheduled maintenance.
The average number of workers on shifts A and C was 12,960, with 3,773 entering the mine. In production, milling processing averaged 42,500 tons per day, with shipments of 46,800 tons per day to the Colón Plant and 7,300 tons to the Sewell Plant.
The Divisional Executive Committee and management teams reinforced their deployment on the ground, boosting the "Stronger Than Ever" safety plan, with emphasis on the MGA and managing the safe return to operations.
