Santiago, October 6, 2025.- Through a Material Fact sent to the Financial Market Commission, Codelco announced that, effective today, Patricio Véliz, who served as Ethics and Compliance Manager since April 2024, will cease to provide services.

The Corporation appreciates his contribution and commitment during his tenure, during which he helped strengthen the corporate compliance and ethics model, a key element in safeguarding the company's integrity and consolidating a culture based on responsibility and transparency.

On an interim basis, Irene Cosentino will assume responsibility for leading the area, while maintaining her role as Corporate Risk Manager.
